Air – Biogas and combustible gases ATEX - Industrial gases

AQUALIMPIA ENGINEERING e.K. supplies blowers up to 75 kW (100HP) and biogas (GLP, NG)  trains manufactured in Germany and Italy to be used in digesters and sewage treatment plants, etc.

These are blowers that comply with ATEX regulations (explosion-proof). The ATEX 94/9 / EC, BS EN 14986: 2007 standard is the European directive applicable to equipment and protection systems designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The ATEX directive became a law of the European Union applicable to any electrical or mechanical equipment intended to be installed in environments with the possibility of explosions occurring or for the conduction and handling of flammable gases. The ATEX blowers also fulfill the anti-spark and anti-explosion denomination used in Latin America and the United States.

Blowers can be used to supply, drive, compress or extract biogas. They are commonly used in the following processes.

•     Conduction and pressure elevation of biogas for gensets.
•     Gas train for   biogas - generators and boilers.
•     Biogas train  for flares.
•     Extraction of biogas in landfills.
•     Aquaculture.
•     Sewage plants (activated sludge).
•     Injection of air (oxygen) for water treatment plants.
•     Extraction of biogas in digesters.
•     Agitation in digesters by injection of biogas under pressure.

Our gas trains comply with the German G620 regulation that regulates the technical aspects of design and manufacture of these equipment.
